Custom software development in Singapore

Bespoke enterprise applications, workflow systems and business automation — designed around how your business actually runs, then built, deployed and maintained by the same team.

The problem

Off-the-shelf software makes you work its way

Which is fine, until the way it wants you to work is the thing that makes you competitive.

Most businesses reach the same fork. The packaged system does eighty per cent of what you need, and the missing twenty per cent is the part that actually differentiates you. So it gets handled in spreadsheets, in email, in someone's head — and that workaround quietly becomes the most critical process in the company, with no backup, no audit trail and one person who understands it.

Custom software is worth building when the process is the business. It is not worth building when you want a CRM that already exists. We will tell you which of those you are looking at, including when the answer costs us the project.

A useful test: if you can name an off-the-shelf product that does ninety per cent of the job, buy it and integrate it. If your honest answer is "nothing does this the way we do it", that is a custom build.

What we do

What a bespoke build covers

Six areas that come up in almost every engagement, deployed together or in sequence.

Enterprise applications

Line-of-business systems that hold your operational data — orders, jobs, assets, cases — with the workflow, permissions and reporting your team needs.

Workflow & business automation

Approval chains, scheduled processes, document generation and notifications that remove the manual re-keying between systems and people.

Database & backend systems

Data models designed to still make sense in five years, with the indexing, integrity constraints and migration path to grow into.

APIs & integration layers

REST and GraphQL services so your system can talk to the rest of your stack — and so the next system can talk to this one.

Legacy modernisation

Replacing systems that still work but can no longer be changed, usually in stages rather than a single risky cutover.

Portals & dashboards

Customer, supplier and staff portals, and the two or three numbers that actually change a decision.

Deliverables

What you actually receive

Everything below is yours to keep, and to take elsewhere if you ever decide to.

A scoped specification and fixed estimate before any code is written
Clickable prototype validated with real users
Working software every two weeks in an environment you can log into
Full source code, with ownership terms agreed up front
Technical documentation and a handover session for your team
A support arrangement with a defined SLA, if you want one
Proof, not promises

We built this for ourselves first

The fastest way to judge whether we can build your system is to look at one we already run in production.

Snowfire Cloud ERP

Snowfire is our own cloud ERP — CRM, finance, HR and projects, running in production for SMEs across Singapore. It exists because we kept building the same modules for clients. If you want to see the standard we build to, it is the most complete example we can show you.

Signals

When a custom build is the right call

Your process is the product

Clients choose you because of how you operate, and no packaged tool supports that shape of work.

The spreadsheet is load-bearing

A critical process runs in a file that one person maintains, with no history and no controls.

Nothing talks to anything

Staff re-key the same data into three systems because none of them were designed to work together.

Common questions

What clients ask first

It depends entirely on scope, and anyone quoting before discovery is guessing. As a rough shape: a focused internal tool typically lands in the low tens of thousands; a full line-of-business system with integrations runs materially higher. We give a fixed estimate after a scoped discovery, so you see a real number before committing to the build.
Three to six months to a first production release for most systems, delivered in two-week increments so you are never waiting until the end to see progress. Simple tools go live sooner; anything involving migration from an existing system takes longer, and the migration is usually why.
Yes, for bespoke work. Ownership terms are agreed before we start rather than negotiated at handover.
Yes, and it is often the best arrangement. We can lead, embed alongside your team, or take a defined component while your people own the rest.
Changes are priced against the fixed baseline as they arise, and you decide whether to add now, defer, or drop something else. What we avoid is discovering the change at the end.
Buy, if a product does ninety per cent of the job. Build, if the process is the thing that makes you money. We will say which we think it is, and we have talked clients out of builds before.
